Chiang Rai is approximately 185km (3 hours) from Chiang Mai. While it is a long day (12–13) hours round trip), it is absolutely worth it to see the world-famous White Temple and Blue Temple. For a more relaxed pace, we recommend our multi-day Chiang Rai packages which include overnight stays.
To avoid the largest crowds and the midday heat, we aim to arrive at the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) as early as possible. Our private Chiang Rai temple tours allow for flexible start times to ensure you get the best photos without the tour-bus crowds.
Our private tours starts from hotels and condos in Chiang Mai and nearby districts such as Mae Rim. Request for pick up at train station or airport can be arramged.
